Tres Leches

Hola me llamo es Gabby,
Tiene, Tres Leches. ¡Tres leches es sabroso, y muy dulce! Tres leches un poco como flan.

                      I really liked Sazón, I thought the people there were really nice and friendly. I loved all the food, it was so different from anything I've had before. There were so many different flavors in all of the foods, it was kind of hard to tell what was in it, but it was all very good. The Tres Leches was good, I've never had anything like it, so it was different and very good!

Reflection

My first impression of Sazon and it’s staff was “WOW” I felt like I was really in Venezuela for a minute. The food was excellent too. It was exciting to try new types of food that weren’t from the US. The first food I tried was the Bistec. My first impression was that it was very tasty, kind of sweet and I wanted more.

¡Frijoles!

¡Que sabroso! los frijoles son muy sabroso. Los frijoles son casi perfecto pero, un poco demasiado salado.

I loved this restaurant! The reason being that they have a great variety of flavors in one dish. On top of that the people were extremely polite and welcoming. Overall I think they have great food especially their beans, but in the future I would hope that they would make them a little less salty.

Tequeños-Spencer

Los Tequeños es muy sabrosos. Tequeños es dulce y cordial.

I think that the owners are very nice people and very good cooks. I think that even though it is a small restaurant, it is very organized and is  not to shabby. I also think that the food was delicious even though there wasn't a lot of it. I think that tequeños is pretty good and I need to find out where I can get some more. And if we ever go back to that place I will need to order that dish again. El Sazon es muy bueno They should get a bigger place, it would be good for their business.

3) When I first saw Sazon from the outside I thought it was going to be a farely large resturant but when I walked through the door it was very small it probly can only fit 70 people at max. When it was my turn to go up to get food for the second time I started talking to the owner of the resturant he was very nice and I complemented him on the food he made. When I first saw the food it all looked really good beside the black beans im not a fan of them. I have had things like this before but this was very good!

I thought that Sazon was a great restaurant that I would consider going back to. I think that the food was good and the owners were nice. I think that the whole restaurant was fantastic

    What was your impression of Sazón and the owners? Oh, the owners were really nice. The restaurant may have been small, but it was still beautiful. I would go back, if I was rich.

·       What was your impression of this dish? Is it similar to anything you've tried before? I wondered what the food would taste like. I've had Spanish food before, so was it really going to taste any different? Once I had this dish, I was blown away beyond this planet! This is the Spanish dish I've ever had!

¡Ay dios mio! los Platunos Fritos son muy sabroso  Me gusta platunos fritos es mucho rio. Probe grasoso y salado. Es muy intrestante y diferente.

I like  sazón. I honestly didn’t think the food there was going to be good and the owners looked like they didn’t know how to cook. I didn’t think I was going to like anything. But after eating the food i realizes i was wrong. the dish i had look like something i had already had before. because my my makes plantens for me all the time. i would come back to sazón's so because the food is great.

Creo que este plato era dulce, pero deliciosa. He encontrado todas las partes del plato de trabajar juntos y que tenga mejor sabor.

I think that they were over all nice but rushed so i didn't have time to talk to them, that it was classy, i thought it looked good, Its similar to cake , yes.

Tequeños!

Mi nombre es helen.Es muy sabroso, pero me gusta. Es super delisioso. The people were very nice to me. They had very nice manners. The tequeños were amazing! Thy tasted like mozzarella sticks, except bigger. I think they were better than mozzarella sticks. They are bigger and more delicious.

    When I first saw this dish, I didn't think that I would like it. When I tried it I really liked it. It wasn't as greasy as I thought it would have been.

Plátanos Fritos

Mi nombre es Byshera Moore. Plátanos fritos no me gustó nada. ¡Madre mia! Es demasiado dulce. 

I thought that Sazón was a cool place, there was bird hanging for the scaling. and there where dolls in the glass cabinets. The owners seem cool, fun loving, and willing to help use with anything that we needed. When I first saw the food I was not going to try it. But most of the food was good, but i don't think i would go back.

¡Ay madre mia! Tequeños son muy diferente y delicioso. Son muy increible sobrosos.

When i first walked into the restaurant, the place was small, and it wasn't how I thought it would look. The owners were very nice and patient, I accidentally spilled water on the floor, and they calmly came over and cleaned it up for me. They were very nice and helpful. When i saw the food I thought half of it would be nasty, but most of it was awesome and totally different from how i expected it to taste.

Arroz Blanco

  ¡Muy muy bueno! Puede ir con cualquir comida.

• This dish was very good. As white rice it had a very nice taste. I'm not sure it they added anything to make the taste stand out but it was good. I usually make white rice myself. I mostly eat it with chicken and vegetables. I use the gravy from the chicken cooking and usually pour it over the white rice. I also like to eat mines with just a little seasoning called Old Bay. It's very yummy!! I enjoy eating it whenever I get the taste for it.

Me gustó este plato. Fue muy sabroso. No me gusta nada al principo, tambien, realmente ahora. ¡Especialmente el queso!

English Reflection:

My impreesion was very placid. It didn't look appealing or eye catching, but the smell was breathtaking (in a good way). The faculty of the building looked very energetic, and happy about what they do. When I saw the food, I honestly thought it would be the worst thing I've consumed, but I was dearly wrong.


The dish I tried amazed me! I really thought the cheese would be disgusting, but it turned out really well. I haven't tasted anything similar. I would definitely order it again.

When I first walked into Sazón I thought it was a little cute place.It was painted in earth tone colors and was very clean. The workers there seemed nice and relaxed.When I saw the food, it looked different but I was willing to try everything.I loved the smells of the foods and the different colors. When I first saw it, I thought it would be sweet,I had no idea it was filled with cheese (I didn’t remember the ingredients to all the dishes). I would definitely order it again If i go to Sazón again.In fact, my mom wants to go bad so I’m sure I will be returning soon.

Empanadas

¡Ay, madre mía! Los empanadas son muy, muy sabrosos. Los empanadas son demasiados grasosos.

I really liked the owners of sazón and the food was amazing.The empanadas kind of reminded me of Dumplings. I really like the empanadas, but they were a little bit greasy.

When i walked into Sazón i was kind of shocked by how small it was. After i sat down I noticed the owners setting up behind the counter. They seemed really nice. When i was going down the line to get some of the food i was a little nervous if i was going to like it or not. After i tried the food i was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

Asado Negro

Me nombre es Miguel. Este plato es Asada Negro. Este plato es muy dulce par que madre mia muy delicioso.

When i first walked into Sazon i thought it was very small but had alot of seats for such a small place. The owners were cool and they treated like customers and loved that.

¡Arroz con pollo!

Me nombre es Keyaira. En 13/5/11 mi clase de espanól fuemos a Sazón.  El comida es intersante. Mi Favorito comida es Arroz con pollo.
Arroz con pollo es muy, muy delicioso. Es no demasiado salado o demasiaso grasoso pero sabroso.

When i first walked into Sazón i thought the place was very small but also very elegant. The owners greeted everyone warmly with a smile and even tried to see how much Spanish we knew. Once my table was called to get our food we all were amazed at how great the food looked. All thee food looked good but the Arroz con pollo stood out the most. The rice had a blend of beautiful bright colors and you could smell all the fresh ingredients inside. I would love to go back to Sazón!

Probé el arroz. Me encantó. Es muy sabroso y diferente. Jaja. ¡Qué sabroso!

I thought that the owners were very nice and kind. When I walked in I thought it that Sazón was very small. Even though, I thought most of the food I wouldn't like, but I was wrong. I enjoyed everything. I thought that this dish was fabulous and I liked eating it.

My first impression when I walked in and seen the place was that it's very small and the owners know a lot of Spanish and when i was walking there I was wondering if the food going to be weird looking. But when I seen the food I thought this is just like what my grand mom cook.

My first impression this food my taste different from my mom cooking it. But it taste just the same, and if i do go back i will order it.

The people at El Sazon were really nice and happy and invited us in their restaurant with big smiles. The restaurant was decorated with bright colors and little statues. The food looked really good and I wanted to try and eat everything. All the dished looked delicious. The tequeños reminded me of a of a dish my mom makes. I would  definitely order the tequeños and I would come back to El Sazon.

My impression of the Sazón was that it was very small but had very good food, and drinks. When I seen the food I thought that it looked very delicious but it might not be as tasty as it looked.

Opinión: Me encanta la parchita . Es agrio, pero muy sobriso!

I really loved the restaurant. It was small, and the food was fabulous! The waiters were so nice, and I had a wonderful time there. The food was very interesting, and it looked colorful and outside the box.
            I did my video on Juego de parchita. It tasted like pineapples and I really enjoyed it!  I would definitely order it, and everything I tried if I went back to Sazón.

No mi gusta jugo de parchita. ¡Ay dios mio! Es muy amargo.

I think the owners were very friendly and nice even though there was about 60 of us and we must of droven them insane. When we walked in I though the resturant was a lot smaller than I expected it to be. I thought the food looked different but i still thought it looked good. This juice wasn't anything like something I have tried before.

My impression of the tequeños was that I didn't know what to expect. So I took a little bite and then I loved them. From then on i was eating them off of everyone plates. Tequeños are similar to mozzerella Sticks. Just the fired dough was different. I would Order this food if I went back to Sazón. I would order lots and lots and lots of them.

Asado Negro

The food smelled delicious, I knew from when I walked in that I would like the food. I tried the rice and chicken witch was also really good. I also liked the Mango juice.

When I first walked in Sazón I was surprised because it was nicer than i thought it was going to be. The food was amazing and the owner and the other stuff were friendly and interested in how we liked the food and next time we come we can ask for the food in spanish.

El Sazón!

Mi nombre es Aidan Rios. Las empanadas que yo comí eras como los empanadas de puerto rico pero mas peqaño. eras mas o menos.

Well, when i first saw the place  i though that it wasn't gonna be the good and when i saw the food i was again more like ehhh. But when i tried the food i was a little surprise at how it taste. It was ok. 

The dishes were smiler to the puerto rican food that i eat. Just different style of making it. If i ever went back to the "sazón" i think that i would get the same thing i got before.

when i first walked in i thought wow this place is small and when i saw the food i thought this looks weird but i still want to try it.  Is it similar to anything you've tried before? this was some what  similar to the meat that i tasted before and if i were to come back to sazón i would order it again.

Jugo De Parchita

Me encantó el jugo de parchita, es muy bueno. Es bastante sabroso. Es como nada que haya probado antes. Es dulce y tiene mucho sabor


My first impression of the restaurant  was that it was very small, and that maybe the food wouldn't be so good. But when they started placing the food for the buffet, I was amazed by how good the food and juice was. Like the way they cook is way different then people in Philly and also different then the way my Puerto Rican family cooks.

The juice was amazing! I would definitely order it again, and maybe ask to take some home :).

When I walked into Sazón, my first impression was WOW!, is this what Venezuela is like? The owners looked really kind and nice. As I explored the mouth-watering foods, I wanted to eat it all myself but I managed to control myself. I would most definitely come back and eat there. Everything was great! I would order everything off the menu, especially the empanadas, they were GOOD!

Part Three:

When I first heard buffet, the first thing that came to mind was a huge wonderful restaurant. As we approached the restaurant, I was completely wrong. It was actually a corner buffet! But with most small stores, the owners were really nice. I felt welcome and not awkwardly out of place. As the food and drinks came around, they looks wonderfully prepared. Tasting just I had expected them to taste. When it came time for the beans, I passes because they did not look as appealing. Overall, the food and the buffet is good. If I could come back, then I would most likely get the rice with chicken again.

Asado Negro

Fuimes a Sazon el viernes y probé asado negro.

They were all very nice and willing to answer any questions we had to offer about Venezuela and Venezuelan foods. I thought that I might not like the food because it was nothing I tried before.

I thought that it wouldn't taste very good because I didn't know what the black sauce was but after I tasted it I was amazed at how good it was. I would definitely order it again if I ever went back to El Sazón.

Arroz con Pollo

Mi nombre es Roger Bracy. El viernes fuimos a Sazón. Probé arroz con pollo. ¡Qué sabroso! Arroz con pollo es increíble.

What were your thoughts when you walked in? How about when you saw the food?
When I walked in I was expecting the place to be unprepared for our class, but luckily they cleared the whole afternoon to have a buffet. As for the food, my class and I did enjoy a lot of these dishes.

Arroz

Me gusto mucho el arroz. Muy saladas y sabroso. Yo gusto el arroz con frijoles. Yo tambien gusto el arroz con tequeños.

I really liked the white rice. It was sticky and salty and it went really well with the beans. I think this rice is a little similar to the rice that I normally eat at home. I also thought that the rice went great along with our passion fruit juices.
